Easypal Sstv Software
- MMSSTV
There are many HF SSTV Nets active 24 hours daily. Locally around Melbourne we have a 2m SSTV Net on Monday and Thursday evenings on VK3RML with the kind support of Amateur Radio Victoria at 21:00 local time. 146.700 output, 146.100 input Just call in and join the fun. EasyPal EasyPal is a digital SSTV program using a soundcard to encode and decode the SSTV signals. It’s also a very flexible software tool for sending and receiving files other than picture files. Software for Digital SSTV under LINUX with DRM. RXAMADRM - A LINUX PROGRAM FOR DIGITAL SSTV FEATURES. Audio Input Uses HB9TLK's HAM DRM standard modes A, B and E. EasyPal is a FREE program written by ERIK VK4AES Compatible with Windows XP, Vista and RC7 (Windows 7) Operating Systems. All versions have been VIRUS CHECKED by several commercial AV programs and are CLEAN at the time of Upload.
I have tested this software on a 1.6GHz Dual Core Windows XP SP2 system and on a 366MHz Pentium II Windows 98SE system and it works on both systems very well indeed. I can see this mode being quite a success mainly because the software is easy to use, it requires less processing power than EasyPal and DRM and images are of standard SSTV size. EasyPal - Easypal is a freeware DSSTV software uses the DRM (Digital Radio Mondiale) encoding to allow the sending of image files over voice channels. This mode is known as Digital SSTV.

Installing MMSSTV
A fair amount of testing is done before a new release made available on the website. In my tests, I always installed over the older versions To date I have never had any problems. That being said, one never knows for sure how an install will go on every computer.. All I can say is installing over the older version should work.. It might be a good idea to make a back up copy of MMSSTV.ini and (urcall).mdt, just in case something goes wrong.
