I need a decent free MIDI editor for Mac OS X. By 'editor' I mean something that can at least save/export MIDI (so no GarageBand) that has a music staff or tracker interface. I have yet to find anything appropriate (and I searched long and hard).
I've tried scorewriters like Finale NotePad; they've either prevented me from adding/removing instruments on the fly or provide poor non-linear editing.
Does anyone know of a program that would suit my needs??
Thanks.
